Key Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the Business Architect to develop and implement a tool for resource allocation and optimization as well as various reporting tools to support Planning and Allocation team
  • Manages the overall product demand and translates this demand into rolling sales forecasts and production forecast and final demand documents
  • Communicates and reviews inventory levels and forecast / demand with various manufacturing entities and headquarter and defines the volume flow to each warehouse and CS location in EMEA region
  • Supports the Planning & Allocation Manager EMEA to review and analyze the established and prepared data
  • Supports the Inside Sales department to service their customer communication
  • Communicates daily the Available to Promise (ATP) sales volume to sales management
  • Ensures inventory resources optimization and allocation cycles with efficient resource utilization
  • Establishes weekly / monthly reports on shipped products, open PO’s, demand trends and patterns as well as regional performance



  • University degree in business administration, engineering or comparable, Master is a plus

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar function
  • Experience of working with SQL in an advantage
  • Working with ERP and CRM and/or sales information management systems preferred


  • Good relational database knowledge and understanding with hands-on experience
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools is a plus
  • Excellent MS-Excel skills, SAP and/or Salesforce is a plus
  • Result driven approach with a proactive attitude, high initiative to take on challenges and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Deep capacity for influencing others that do not report to Planning; enlisting their commitment (time, resources and budgets) in support of Planning initiatives
  • Good negotiation and argumentation skills
  • Reliability and ability to work under pressure, high flexibility
  • Excellent oral and written communication and intercultural skills


  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus, especially Chinese language
